  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Police nab 3 suspected kidnappers, rescue male victim in Rivers

The Rivers state police command has arrested three suspected kidnappers, Vincnet Sunday, Ekene Micheal and Mahammed Oluwasegun at Obelle community in Emohua LGA and rescued one Martins, Nze from Akwa, Anambra state.

In a statement by the spokesperson of the command SP GRACE IRINGE KOKO said base on credible Information, the Rumuji Police division moblize patrol team on Tuesday 10th January at about 8:39pm raided an uncompleted building used for criminal hideout in Obelle community and rescued the victim.

The statement said the victim car, a Toyota Corolla was recovered, one Single Barrel Dane Gun was also recovered from the suspects as they will be charged to court once the investigations are completed.

The PPRO statement further reaffirmed the command commitment to reducing crime and criminality in all its forms to a bare minimum, while Irving members of the public members to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police on the following emergency numbers: 08039213071, 08098880134.
