 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. DSS Releases Fani-Kayode After Six Hours Interrogation

The Department of State Services (DSS), has released one of the spokespersons for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode, after six hours of interrogation on his allegations of a possible coup being planned by Atiku and top Army generals.

The Director, Media and Publicity, Tinubu/Shettima Campaign, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this on Monday via his official Twitter account.

He wrote, “Femi Fani-Kayode released by DSS after about six hours of interrogation.”

Recall that Fani-Kayode in a series of tweets on Monday confirmed the invitation, expressing that he is not afraid of being questioned by DSS as he has done nothing wrong.
