 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. LASG SHUT DOWN ONLY CHRISLAND HIGH SCHOOL IKEJA  


  


The Lagos State Ministry of Education’s official order for the temporary closure of one of the Chrisland Schools affects only Chrisland High School, Ikeja, and not all the schools operated by the owners.   


  


This clarification is necessary to address the anxiety of parents and members of the public on the erroneous claim that the school defied the State Government order on its closure. 


  


For the avoidance of doubt, only Chrisland High School Ikeja, where Whitney was a student until the unfortunate incident, remains closed as directed and the school authority has complied. 


  


The regrettable death of Whitney, as reported, is undergoing investigation by the police and relevant agencies of the Lagos State Government. The findings of the investigation will be made public as soon as it is completed. 


  


However, Chrisland High School, Ikeja, will remain temporarily closed to students and staff to allow unhindered investigations and afford all stakeholders including parents, students, staff, and friends of the deceased, time to grieve.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
