Renowned 20th-century philosopher Jürgen Habermas dies at 96 Jürgen Habermas, the German philosopher widely recognized for his contributions to modern political thought and democratic theory, died Saturday in Starnberg, Germany, at the age of 96. His passing was confirmed in a statement by his Berlin-based publisher, Suhrkamp Verlag, which noted that Habermas’s work, translated into more than 40 languages, had left a lasting impact on global intellectual discourse. Jonathan Landgrebe, head of the publishing house, described him as “a significant philosopher, ever-present advisor, and dear friend.” For more than six decades, Habermas helped shape postwar and post-reunification German political life. He is best known for conceptualizing the “public sphere,” a domain for discussion free from state influence, which he argued is essential for a functioning democracy. 2023: How Zamfara citizens witnessed thousands of soldiers, police, para military in 2-Day election

2023 elections has come and gone, Nigerians especially the ally's to  Governor Matawalle of Zamfara State  would never forget the level of external sabotage that played out to unseat His Excellency Governor Matawalle, though Zamfara APC tagged Matawalle's 2nd term loss to his involvement in suing the federal government together with some serving governors before the Supreme Court of Nigeria, praying the court  to force the apex Bank to allow Nigerians to continue to spend the old Naira notes till the end of 2023 which the presidency saw, as face to face combat with President Muhammadu Buhari, being the one who gave the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN order to implement the redesign of #200, #500 and #1000 naira notes.

Governor Matawalle of Zamfara State, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano and Nasir El Rufa'i of Kaduna state after winning their case at the apex court on behalf of more than 250 million Nigerian populations, to continue to spend the old Naira notes till end of December 2023, of course  that didn't go well with the federal might observing such national rescue as an insults to Ogas at the top.

For long, Governor Matawalle of Zamfara State has been shouting, crying and lobbying the federal government time with out number to help and send more troops to get rid of the 2 decades of insecurity challenges in the State, yet without any positive response from the federal government for the reason best known to them.

I am strongly of the opinion that, the mentioned State governors has one after the other paid for the will against the federal government by teaching them the lesson they physically and openly understand as they use to say, by deployment of  no fever than 12, 000 fully armed soldiers, 9000 conventional armed police and 6,000 para military to observe and prudently return select the Son in_law to the friend of Mamman Daura as the duly selected governor of Zamfara State under the PDP through intimidation  and physical assaults to APC members by Abuja forces.

Interestingly, INEC stylishly acted the script written to them  by Oga's at the top for refusing after giving formal notice to all the political parties in Zamfara to conduct supplementary election scheduled to hold in Birnin Magaji local government before the final declaration.

The out going administration of President Muhammadu Buhari would be remembered by many Nigerian for vehemently disrespect to the rule of law, insecurity and intimidation.

God bless the federal Republic of Nigeria. God bless Zamfara State.
