  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  ACTDA Begins Demolition of Illegal structures Obstructing road construction

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA)Mr Ossy Onuko has reiterated his resolve and commitment towards transforming Awka Capital Territory to a Mega City.


The ACTDA boss gave the assurance at the  Unizik temporary Site road Awka, during the demolition of illegal structures standing in the way of achieving a standard road befitting a State Capital.


Mr Onuko said this has become necessary because the buildings are delaying the pace of  developing the road.


In his speech, the Chief of Staff to the State Government,Mr Ernest Ezeajughi appreciated the efforts of ACTDA in ensuring the smooth Construction of the  dual carriage road and  also noted that the construction of the dual carriage road will open up the city, adding that at the completion of the road project, residents within Awka Capital Territory and  Anambra people in general will appreciate the State Government.


In  a reaction, Miss Chinwendu Orji, a petty trader at Unizik junction said it is a welcome development, adding that they have been served several vacation notices by the Authority(MOI).
