ACTDA Boss Commences Movement to Recovering  Government Owned Lands

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr Ossy Onuko has vowed to recover every government land illegally occupied by land grabbers within Awka Capital territory.

Mr Onuko said this  at Agu Awka during the re-marking and partial demolition of some illegal structures erected by some individuals on government owned lands.

"We are resolute in our determination to restore and preserve the land administration system in Awka Capital territory, hence the movement l," he said.

The ACTDA Boss advised Ndi Anambra to always enquire the status of a land from relevant Authorities like  Ministry of lands, ACTDA and Physical Planning before purchasing any land, which he said wouldl curb wastage of their resources.

The team also went to Kamali close to Okpuno Awka where a structure obstructing access road was partially demolished and to Eke Awka Market to ensure that road traders there are conforming to the set standards of allowing free flow of traffic.

The Authority went in the company of men of Nigerian Civil Defence  Corps to maintain order, (MOI).
