 Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Decries Members’ Inaccessibility of Education, Jobs, Health Facilities in Anambra Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) has identified inaccessibility of public buildings, transport, schools and health facilities as well as limited employment opportunities for qualified members in organized private sector as challenges facing its members in Anambra state. State Chairman, Comr Ugochukwu Okeke disclosed this on Friday at the End-of-the-Year Meeting and Prayer Summit in commemoration of 2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The annual event, themed, “Let Us Praise God” drew over,500 members from across the 21 local government areas of the state. APPEAL COURT GRANTS OBI’S REQUEST TO SERVE PETITION ON TINUBU. (PHOTO).


 Appeal Court Grants Obi’s Request To Serve Petition On Tinubu


The Court of Appeal has granted permission to Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to serve his petition challenging the February 25 presidential election on Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Obi is challenging the victory of Tinubu who was declared the President-Elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The LP flag bearer’s counsel, Ikechukwu Ezechukwu (SAN), in an exparte application, asked the appellate court to grant Obi and the Labour Party leave to serve the petition on Tinubu and the Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima, through substituted means.

The lawyer urged the court to permit Obi to serve the court documents on Tinubu and Shettima through the office of the legal adviser of the APC.
Ruling on the application, a three-member panel of the Court of Appeal, Abuja, led by Haruna Tsammani, granted Obi’s request
