  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. NAKONDE MAN BURNS HIS STEP SON TO DEATH BECAUSE HIS MOTHER COOKED BEANS INSTEAD OF MEAT



A 25 year old man of Nakonde has burnt his two year old step son to death because his mother cooked beans instead of meat. The meat and beans was bought by the wife using her money and she made a meal time table and put meat on Sunday. Her husband who has never bought food for the family for the past one year, wanted to eat meat on Friday but was annoyed after he found beans in the plates. He decided to punish his wife by pouring hot water on his step son who was sleeping. The baby cried uncontrollably before fainting, 30 minutes later he died. He was put to rest today Sunday in Nakonde. So sad. May the Soul of the Innocent Boy Rest In Eternal Peace!
