  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Police Parades Suspected Political Thugs, Armed Robbers, Others In Lafia

The Nasarawa State Police Command, Friday, paraded two suspects over attempt to commit culpable homicide in Toto local government area of the state.

According to the police, the suspects were armed with dangerous weapons and were sighted trying to kill one Ali Misalam of Toto LGA. 

The command's Spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel, made this known while parading the suspects in Lafia, the state capital. 

Nansel said that upon arrest, the police recovered one locally made gun, one pistol, and two live cartridges from the suspects.

The police spokesman disclosed that the suspects admitted to conspiring to kill the victim because he initiated their mother into witchcraft. 

Similarly, the police command also paraded 19 others for political thuggery and armed robbery offenses.

The police recovered firearms from some of the suspects, including two English pump action guns, nine locally fabricated guns, and twenty live cartridges. 

The suspects were intercepted in a Toyota pickup vehicle and a Toyota Siena bus loaded with suspected political thugs from FCT, Nasarawa, and Imo states.

The police also arrested two suspected armed robbers who had been on the wanted list for various offenses. 

The suspects confessed to carrying out many armed robbery operations within Masaka and environs, and one locally fabricated Berretta pistol was recovered from them as exhibit.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Maiyaki Muhammed Baba, reiterated the Command’s commitment to decisively deal with any attempt by any person or group to cause any security breach leading to the breakdown of law and order in the state.

The suspects will be charged to court after further investigation.
