 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. 5 PEOPLE DIED,9 WOUNDED AFTER A MAN OPENED FIRE AT A BANK IN KENTUCKY,UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. (VIDEOS/PHOTO).

Five people have died, and nine more have been injured, after a 25-year-old opened fire at a bank in Kentucky. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reversed a decision to sack his Defence Minister over objections to his radical judicial reforms.


CNN reports Louisville shooter Connor Sturgeon was notified that he was going to be terminated from Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation. 


Sturgeon wrote a note for his parents and a friend indicating that he was going to shoot at the bank, the source said. 


It is not clear whether that note was on paper or emailed, or whether it was seen before the incident or after, according to the source. 


The shooting was live-streamed on Instagram and has been taken down. Police are in possession of the video, according to the source.
