 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. COFFIN REFUSES TO BE BURIED, HIT SUSPECTED KILLER ON HEAD IN CHIPEMBELE.

Drama and Confusion this morning erupted in Chiyobola village of Chipembele ward in Monze district after a coffin for a man in his 60s identified as Bruno Chilundu allegedly refused to be buried.

Chipembele Ward Councilor Bonaventure Mwiinga tells wave fm news that the drama started when the coffin started dragging poll bearers searching for the suspected killers.

Mr Mwiinga further explains that the coffin has hit the elder brother to the late on the head as one of the suspect killer behind the death of the late Chilundu.

He says the deceased was a retired teacher who died on 18th April 2023 in unclear circumstance.

The Civic leader says the burial was supposed to take place today after the church service.

By broadcast time, the coffin was still searching other suspected killers.
