 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Hisbah arrests 11 minors at leisure park in Kebbi

11 minors have been arrested by Hisbah operatives at a leisure park in Birnin Kebbi the Capital of Kebbi state.

Hisbah Director, Muhammad Sulyman, said the minors include both males and females, ages 14 to 15 years who were caught engaging in different anti-social behaviour allegedly inimical to their well-being and which is also abhorred in Islamic religion.

Sulyman said the minors have confessed to the offences they have committed. He added that Hisbah operatives counselled them on the dangers of what they were caught doing before releasing them to their parents with a strong warning not to indulge in such immoral acts which are capable of eroding their home training.

He also warned that Kebbi Hisbah operatives will leave no stone unturned in nipping in the bud minors and even adults who engage in unwholesome attitudes of alcoholism or prostitution.

Sulyman said; 

“Anti-social behaviour has no place in our society and we will not fold our arms to allow youth to be lost to the immorality of either drinking or prostitution.”
