 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site. Kidnappers Release 74 Persons In Zamfara

In Zamfara State, 74 abducted from Wanzamai village in Tsafe Local Government Area of State have regained their freedom after payment of six million naira as ransom to the abductors.

A resident of the village who disclosed that the abductors have released 74 while two were killed, the remaining kidnapped victims are still in captivity.

The 74 victims were brought into the village in vehicles straight to a private hospital for medical screening.

They were said to have been abducted in the affected villages of Wanzamai, Gidan Cida and Kuceri but one of the victims later escaped.

The abductors demanded more money before they would release the remaining twenty persons still in captivity.

The 74 who regained their freedom are weak, highly traumatized, and need urgent medical attention to be able to get back on their feet.

On Friday, 7th April, 2023 suspected terrorists invaded Wanzamai, Kucheri, Gidan Chida villages and abducted 96 women and children to an unknown destination demanding N3million ransom for their release.
