 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. Lionel Messi to leave PSG

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi, is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

This claim was made by respected ESPN journalist Martin Alvaro.

According to Alvaro, Messi’s happiness is in Barcelona Football Club and the Argentina World Cup star could make a return to the Spanish La Liga giant this summer.

Messi, 35, is yet to sign a new contract with PSG and the chances of him making a return to Barcelona are increasing by the day.

His contract with the French Ligue 1 champions will expire at the end of the season.

Speaking on Messi’s situation at PSG, Alvaro told Sports Centre EPSN, “Messi is going to leave Paris. They never understood that they had the best.

“Leo’s happiness is in FC Barcelona and even if he has to play for free, he will try to find it.”

Messi joined PSG in the summer of 2021 from Barca after the Catalan club failed to renew his contract due to La Liga regulations.

Barcelona hierarchy has since expressed their desire to bring Messi back to the club once his contract with PSG expires.
