 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. Lionel Messi to leave PSG

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi, is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

This claim was made by respected ESPN journalist Martin Alvaro.

According to Alvaro, Messi’s happiness is in Barcelona Football Club and the Argentina World Cup star could make a return to the Spanish La Liga giant this summer.

Messi, 35, is yet to sign a new contract with PSG and the chances of him making a return to Barcelona are increasing by the day.

His contract with the French Ligue 1 champions will expire at the end of the season.

Speaking on Messi’s situation at PSG, Alvaro told Sports Centre EPSN, “Messi is going to leave Paris. They never understood that they had the best.

“Leo’s happiness is in FC Barcelona and even if he has to play for free, he will try to find it.”

Messi joined PSG in the summer of 2021 from Barca after the Catalan club failed to renew his contract due to La Liga regulations.

Barcelona hierarchy has since expressed their desire to bring Messi back to the club once his contract with PSG expires.
