 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. NSCDC LAGOS COMMAND RE-ASSURES OF ADEQUATE SECURITY AND SAFETY DURING EID CELEBRATIONS.

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, earlier today, Friday, 21st April, 2023, observed this year's Eid prayers, with other Muslim adherents, at the Ile Zik prayer ground, along Ikeja axis, of the state .

The Lagos State Commandant further assured the general public of adequate, efficient and effective security and safety, of lives and property,  critical national assets and infrastructure amongst others,  considering the well thought out operational orders, designs and strategies, the command had put in place, for this year's Eid - el - fitri celebration to be most  peaceful and joyful .

Commandant UI Alfadarai, fdc, while congratulating the entire Muslim community and faithfuls in the state and tasking them all on total submission to the will of Allah and adherence to the tenets of the Holy books, moving forward. He also stated that he has ensured that lip service is not paid to any duty arrangements, by the Corps' personnel, before, during and after the Eid celebration. 

We are confident that this approach, amidst others will further enhance public trust and confidence in the capacity and capability of the Corps, in the state and by extension the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
