 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site.  Student slumps, dies after collecting matriculation gown in Ilorin

A yet to be named 100-level student of Kwara College of Education, Ilorin, has slumped after collecting her matriculation gown on Wednesday preparatory to her matriculation which was held yesterday (Thursday)


The student died on Wednesday while receiving lectures ahead of her first semester examination when she breathed her last, the college’s spokesperson, Mrs Abibat Zubair said while confirming the incident.


According to Zubair, though the student was immediately rushed to the General Hospital in Ilorin, was pronounced dead on arrival.


Zubair said the lady was mourned during the matriculation on Thursday.


She added that the school’s management already paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased.


The student has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
