 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. Unijos Confers Doctorate Degree Of Law On Emir Of Zazzau 

The Senate and Governing Council of the University of Jos has approved the award of Honourary Doctorate Degree of Laws, Honoris Causa to its Chancellor the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR. 

According to the Letter of Award presented by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ishaya Tanko while leading Management team of the University to his Palace, indicates that the award will be made after the Emir's investiture as Chancellor of the University at the 33rd/34th Convocation Ceremony slated for May, 2023.

Professor Tanko also disclosed that the Senate and Governing Council of the University deem it fit to award Malam Ahmad Bamalli with the Honorary Degree after carefully studying his profile, experience, dynamism, integrity and identifying with his wide range network. 

In a Statement, Media and Publicity Officer of the Zazzau Emirate Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai recalls that the Emir is also the Chancellor of Capital City University, Kano and Greenfield University, Kaduna.
