 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A MOTHER SLUMPED AND DIED AFTER HER SON DIED IN AN AUTO CRASH ON HIS WAY HOME FROM KWARA AFTER COMPLETING HIS NYSC.(PHOTO).

Young man k!lled in auto crash on his way home from Kwara after completing NYSC; his mum slumps and d!es after hearing the sad news


A young man identified as Christian Ugbede Abuka, has d!ed in an auto crash two days after he completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Kwara State.


It was gathered that Christian collected his NYSC certificate on Thursday, May 25, 2025. 


The accident was said to have occurred in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State on Saturday, May 28. 


His ailing mother, who was eagerly expecting him, slumped and d!ed after receiving news of his d£ath.


His brother, Joseph Abuka, confirmed the sad news on Facebook.


"It was a dark day in my family today. My younger brother Christian Ugbede Abuka was involved in a fatal accident on his way back from Kwara state for his NYSC documentation and he died. This resulted in his mother death. Nothing to say but to thank God." he wrote.
