 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. SAD! Popular Akwanga Cleric, Ngharen Dies Aged 58

A popular cleric and General-Overseer of Akwanga-based Kings Summit Church, Pastor Amin Zaigi Ngharen, is dead. 


Ngharen also a lecturer with the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) died on Thursday May 18 after a brief illness. He was aged 58. 


He left behind a wife, children and many relations. 


The deceased cleric was born in Rija Community, Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. 


May his soul rest in peace, amen.
