 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF GBOKO SET TO COMMISSION A RADIO STATION IN GBOKO

Plans are underway by Catholic Diocese of Gboko under the leadership of Most Bishop William Avenya to set up a standard Radio station in Gboko to cater for the information need of the town, state and Nigeria at large.

The yet-to-be commissioned station will be known as "Radio Maria Gboko" and work is in top gears in other to complete the task at the appropriate time.

Radio Maria Studio is Located at "Villa Emmanuel Annex, GRA, Gboko" 

At this point it is worthy to note that Bishop William Amove Avenya of Gboko Diocese is doing exceptionally well in many ramifications of preaching the gospel and ensuring that it
reaches the ends of the earth (Matthew24:14, 28:19).

It could be recalled that under Bishop William Avenya, Gboko Diocese can boost of a Standard Hospital "St John's Hospital Gboko", an "Orphanage Home in Gboko", a Propose "University under construction at Vandeikya", and an "Online Radio Station" just to mention but a few.
