 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONFERS CON AWARD ON GOVERNOR HOPE UZODIMMA 


His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma was yesterday bestowed with the National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The award which was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari is coming at the same period when the Rivers State Government conferred on the Governor its highest Award of Grand Service Star of Rivers State (GSSRS).

The news of the award was received with excitement by ndi Imo and it is in recognition of Governor Hope Uzodimma's immense contributions to national development and unity.

In a statement issued by the Imo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba, the State views the award as a vindication of Governor Hope Uzodimma's tireless commitment to national cohesion and his patriotic zeal in the discharge of his duty.

Hon Emelumba said the people of the state were particularly appreciative of President Muhammadu Buhari's love for the Governor and the people of the state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
