 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. Igbo Businessman, Ikechukwu Simeon Killed By His Abductors After Collecting N10m Ransom

A multi-millionaire and philanthropist based in Lagos, Mr. Ikechukwu Simeon Ebelebe has been found dead two weeks after he was reportedly kidnapped by gunmen in his hometown, Owerre-Akokwa in Ideato-North Local Government Area of Imo State.

His abductors killed him after collecting N10 million Naira ransom from his family.

Available information reveals that his body was identified in a mortuary, where it was deposited after it was discovered by the police.

The report said that his remains were found in a bush in Orumba South LGA, Anambra State. The locals reported a foul smell in the area and upon investigation, found a body that the police confirmed was indeed his.

The late Ikechukwu is the CEO of Divine-Ike motors located in Lagos and runs a foundation- “Divine Iyke Foundation for Humanity” that cares for the elderly and the needy in the East.
