 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). OYO ASSEMBLY PASSES OYSCATECH BILL 2021 INTO LAW 


Oyo State House of Assembly, Tuesday passed the Oyo State College of Agriculture And Technology, OYSCATECH, Bill 2021 into law after scaling through the third reading at the floor of the house.

The passage of the Bill was sequel to the presentation and consideration of the report of the House Joint Committee on Education and Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Chairman of the committee, Hon. Peter Ojedokun said the bill will strengthen the institution and promote agriculture in Oyo State.

The Bill is to provide for the establishment, incorporation, constitution and functions of the Oyo State College of Agriculture And Technology, Igboora following its upgrade to a Polytechnic.

The College was upgraded to a Polytechnic in 2016, and can award National Diploma Certificate and Higher National Certificate.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
