 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Scores Killed, Dozens Injured In India Train Crash 


NEW DELHI (Worthy News-Telegram)-- At least 120 people were killed and more than 800 injured when two trains collided in India’s eastern state of Odisha, local media and officials said. Rescue and search operations were still underway late Friday local time, footage monitored by Worthy News showed.


One of the trains involved in the collision was reportedly the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express. The crash comes at a time of pressure on the government to improve safety. Several hundred accidents occur every year on India’s railways, which with 40,000 miles (64,000km) of track, is the world’s largest network under one management. Two trains collided near the megacity of Delhi in August 1995, killing 358 people in the worst train accident in India’s history.
