 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Scores Killed, Dozens Injured In India Train Crash 


NEW DELHI (Worthy News-Telegram)-- At least 120 people were killed and more than 800 injured when two trains collided in India’s eastern state of Odisha, local media and officials said. Rescue and search operations were still underway late Friday local time, footage monitored by Worthy News showed.


One of the trains involved in the collision was reportedly the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express. The crash comes at a time of pressure on the government to improve safety. Several hundred accidents occur every year on India’s railways, which with 40,000 miles (64,000km) of track, is the world’s largest network under one management. Two trains collided near the megacity of Delhi in August 1995, killing 358 people in the worst train accident in India’s history.
