 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. EFCC Docks Four for N600m Land Scam in Enugu

The Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, arraigned four persons before Justice A.O Onovo at State High Court, Enugu on a five count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing by conversion, contrary to Sections 495 (a) and 342, 343 of the Criminal Code Law of Enugu State, 2004.
 The defendants are Nsude Oguejiofor, Ogbe Emmanuel Monday, Benjamin Onyekachi Nnaji and Nsude Sylvester Chukwuani.
 They allegedly misappropriated N600, 000,000 proceeds of the sale of 100 plots of land belonging to the Umuwankum family of Amechi Uwani.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted bail in the sum of Two Million Naira and one surety in like sum. The surety must be a civil servant of not less than Grade Level 13 and resident within the jurisdiction.
The case was adjourned till September 21, 2023 for hearing.
