 LAGOS LAW REFORM COMMISSION ENGAGES TOURISM, AGRICULTURE MINISTRIES ON SECTORAL LAW REFORMS The Lagos State Law Reform Commission recently held consultative engagements with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems as part of ongoing efforts to review, modernise and harmonise sectoral laws for improved governance, institutional efficiency and sustainable development in Lagos State. The engagement with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture was initiated and led by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola.  The delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Princess Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila, alongside relevant departmental and agency representatives. Former Governor of Anambra State, Etiaba Visits Women Affairs Commissioner, Commends her on speedy response to Sexual and Gender Based Violence cases.

A former governor of Anambra state, Dame Virgy Etiaba has visited the Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo in her office in Awka.

The visit was to commend her on her numerous achievements and speedy response to cases of sexual and gender based violence in the state.

Dame Etiaba commended her efforts in making sure that the vulnerable and less privileged children, women and girls in the state get justice whenever they are trampled upon.

The Former female governor explained that she's happy how the current government is pursing justice for everyone especially using the Child's Right Act law which she signed into Law during her administration as yardstick. 

Responding, Hon Obinabo thanked the first female governor of the state for her kind gesture and noted that she's more motivated to do more knowing that she has her backing.

The Women Affairs boss noted that it is the heart desire of Mrs Nonye Soludo to see that every child maltreated gets access to justice and have a better life in the state.

High point of the visit was the handover of a book written by the former governor to Hon Obinabo.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
