 LAWMA SCALES UP ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT, SEALS DEFAULTING MARKETS, SHOPS IN IKOTUN-IGANDO … Issues Fresh Compliance Notices Along Ojuelegba-Lawanson-Itire Corridor The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has intensified its ongoing environmental compliance enforcement across Lagos, sealing markets, shopping complexes and commercial premises along the Ikotun-Igando axis, while issuing notices of intention to seal markets, shops and plazas along the Ojuelegba-Lawanson-Itire corridor. The enforcement exercise, carried out on Saturday by LAWMA's Project WISE West team, targeted commercial premises along the LASU-Igando Road corridor in Alimosho Local Government Area, following persistent indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the road median despite repeated default notices, sustained environmental advocacy and notices of intention to seal. “He was only looking for daily bread” — Adeniyi Johnson begs Nigeria Police to release Trinity Guy


Renowned actor, Adeniyi Johnson appeals for mercy on behalf a popular skit maker called Trinity Guy, who is currently remanded in prison.


As previously reported, the content creator, based in Ibadan, was summoned by the police last week. He has been taken to court on the charges of allegedly portraying inappropriate content involving a minor in a viral skit video.


The Oyo State Magistrate Court ordered the skit maker to be held in Agodi prison for the alleged sexual exploitation of a 10-year-old child.


The parents of the minor were also detained on charges of conspiracy and sexual abuse.


In response to these developments, Adeniyi Johnson appealed to the Nigeria Police to show leniency in Trinity Guy’s case. He emphasized that the skit maker is simply seeking a means of livelihood.


In his words,


“Dear Nigeria police force and every other related agency. Many of us agree that our brother did what is wrong and absurd.


“All I’m pleading for is to TAMPER JUSTICE WITH MERCY. please @iamtrinityguy is a young man looking for what to eat legally but he incidentally fell on the wrong side of the law.


“Please be merciful as I know he has learnt already Nigerian Police Force Recruitment Forum.
