 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. I Can’t Drive Car Despite Driving Trucks – 22-Year-Old Female Truck Driver

Ademola Omolade, a 22-year-old truck driver from Ogbomosho, Oyo State, born in Osun State, has said that she cannot drive a car despite driving trucks.

Stating how she began to drive trucks, the young lady noted that her parents started pestering her to learn a trade after her secondary school education.

According to her, they wanted her to learn tailoring or hairdressing, but she had no interest in any of those.

At the time, she was living with her aunt in Lagos State, whose husband was a truck driver.

So when her uncle was given two trucks to manage, he asked her if she could be managing the trucks for him and she agreed.

During her course of managing the trucks for her uncle, she developed an interest in driving trucks and that was how she started her journey to becoming a truck driver.
