 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. I Can’t Drive Car Despite Driving Trucks – 22-Year-Old Female Truck Driver

Ademola Omolade, a 22-year-old truck driver from Ogbomosho, Oyo State, born in Osun State, has said that she cannot drive a car despite driving trucks.

Stating how she began to drive trucks, the young lady noted that her parents started pestering her to learn a trade after her secondary school education.

According to her, they wanted her to learn tailoring or hairdressing, but she had no interest in any of those.

At the time, she was living with her aunt in Lagos State, whose husband was a truck driver.

So when her uncle was given two trucks to manage, he asked her if she could be managing the trucks for him and she agreed.

During her course of managing the trucks for her uncle, she developed an interest in driving trucks and that was how she started her journey to becoming a truck driver.
