 JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Results, Set to Begin Candidate Ranking The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise. This crucial update marks the end of the testing phase for the current academic session, paving the way for the next stage of the tertiary admission process. According to a statement issued by JAMB's Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, candidates who sat for the mop-up examination can now access their performance details through the board's approved result-checking channels. Candidate Ranking and Admission Letter Printing With the mop-up results now live, JAMB is transitioning immediately into the screening and placement phase. I Could Have Slapped Kwankwaso At Aso Rock – Ganduje


Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has said that he could have slapped his predecessor, Musa Kwankwaso if he had met him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.


Ganduje said this while addressing State House reporters after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu on Friday.


He accused Kwankwaso of masterminding the demolition in the state, adding that the demolitions in Kano were executed without due process and, therefore, breached the law.


Some structures demolished include Haji camp, Daula Hotel, and shopping complexes around the Eid Prayer Ground in the state. 


Kwankwaso lost the presidential election on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, although the party’s candidate, Abba Yusuf, won the Kano State Governorship election.


However, both men were in the Villa at the same period to see the president. 


When asked about the President’s response and if they had reconciled inside the Villa, Ganduje said, “I know he is in the building but we have not met. Probably if we met, maybe I could have slapped him.”
