 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Kebbi Govt To Complete Ultra Model State Secretariat Complex 

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, has directed the state Head of the Civil Service to submit relevant documents for the completion of the abandoned ultra modern state secretariat complex in Birnin Kebbi.

The Governor gave the directive while inspecting the site of the project. 

He said, the project was part of the liability inherited from the previous administrations. 

According to him, completion of the secreteriate complex was part of his campaign promises.

"I'm ready to support the civil servants and give them conducive environment and working tools for effective and efficient service delivery". 

Earlier, the  Director in charge of the project from the State Ministry of works, Usman Shehu, told the governor that, alot of work had been done in some sections of the complex.

The project was awarded in 2012 by the administration of former governor Usman Nasamu Dakingari and Atiku Bagudu's led administration abandoned the project.
