 LAGOS LAW REFORM COMMISSION ENGAGES TOURISM, AGRICULTURE MINISTRIES ON SECTORAL LAW REFORMS The Lagos State Law Reform Commission recently held consultative engagements with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems as part of ongoing efforts to review, modernise and harmonise sectoral laws for improved governance, institutional efficiency and sustainable development in Lagos State. The engagement with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture was initiated and led by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola.  The delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Princess Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila, alongside relevant departmental and agency representatives. Police officer arrested for attempting to kill his colleague in Adamawa


The police in Kaduna state has arrested an officer, Inspector Moses Paul, for attempting to strangle his colleague, Inspector Simnawa Paul, while they were both on duty at the Police Mobile Force base of 62 Squadron Kafanchan on June 16.


The police in a statement released yesterday June 26, said Inspector Moses Paul tried to strangle, using a rope, the neck of his unsuspecting colleague. The statement said the ''victim was however rescued by two other Police Officers whose attention were drawn by his cries.''


The police added that preliminary inquiries reveals the primary motive was in attempt to cart away Inspector Simnawa Paul's rifle while the the remote cause of action will be ascertained at the end of the full scale investigation during which the culprit will be facing both disciplinary and legal proceedings.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
