 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. President Tinubu asked to probe Buhari, ex-ministers, service chiefs, others

President Bola Tinubu has been urged to allow for a full-scale investigation into the immediate past administration led by the former president, Muhammadu Buhari.

Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, who made the call in a tweet on his verified handle on Sunday, said the investigation should begin with Buhari, members of his cabinet, service chiefs and other cabals in the administration.

According to Sani, if the probe is not extended to other aspects of the previous government, the president may be accused of being selective.

He wrote, “The President should courageously allow a full-scale investigation of the plunder that occurred under the Buhari administration, beginning with Buhari, his ex-ministers, his service chiefs and the cabal wing of his Government.

“The President should not also shield former Governors who are now at liberty, even waiting for political appointment as entitled men.
