 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Anambra Representative Presents South-East Development Commission (SEDC) Establishment Bill 2023 At National Assembly

The Member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency and former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House Of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paschal A. Agbodike today 18th July, 2023 presented a Bill seeking to establish South East Development Commission.

The Bill according to him will address the issue of marginalization, underdevelopment and insecurity in the entire South East geopolitical zone. He said that the Bill will augment the comprehensive development and targeted the specific needs of the people.

He opined that SEDC when successfully created will be entrusted with planning and execution of developmental projects that will positively affect critical sectors like infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, commerce, etc. 

To us at Anambra Current News , this is a landmark move that will help the economic growth of the entire South East. It will attract investments, and create enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
