  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Bring Ekpa To Nigeria To Sit-at-Home With Us, Uzodimma Urges FG, Military

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state has reiterated the need to restore peace and end insurgency in the southeast.

The governor also called for the extradition of Finland-based separatist Simon Ekpa over the illegal Monday sit-at-home order.

He appealed to the Federal Government to collaborate with the Finnish Government to extradite Ekpa to Nigeria for prosecution.

He disclosed this during a familiarisation visit from the new General Officer Commanding GOC, 82 Division, Enugu, Major General Hassan Dada, at the Government House in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

He said:

“What is topmost in our cases is this popular sit-at-home order. There’s one man called Simon Ekpa somewhere in Finland.

“It is our hope that the security agencies, particularly the military, working with the Federal Government, will be able to either bring Simon Ekpa back to Nigeria to also sit at home with us or be made to face the wrath of the law.”

He also spoke on the negative effect of the illegal sit-at-home orders, promising the new GOC and his team his support and that of the people of Imo state.
