 Lagos hotel, 3 other properties forfeited by drug kingpins auctioned at N6.1billion *- It’s a clear message that cartels won’t be allowed to enjoy proceeds of their criminal trade, says Marwa*  A Lagos hotel and three other properties seized from drug kingpins by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and forfeited to the Federal Government through court processes have been auctioned for the sum of Six Billion One Hundred and Forty- Eight Million Nine Hundred and Sixty-Four Thousand Naira (N6,148,964,000.00) only. This was the outcome of a competitive bid process for the sale of eight assets forfeited by drug barons in parts of the country. While bidders who offered above reserved prices emerged winners of four of the listed properties, bids for four others failed because none offered up to the reserved prices. David de Gea Man-U Goal Keeper announces exit from Man Utd

Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea, on Saturday, announced his exit from the club after 12 years.

He made this known via his Twitter handle saying “It’s the right time to undertake a new challenge.”

The long-serving Spanish goalkeeper, who won the Premier League Golden Glove award for most clean sheets last season, was criticised for a number of high-profile errors in the final weeks of the campaign.

He, however, appreciated fans of the club for their support

I just wanted to send this farewell message to all Manchester United supporters and for the feats records since Sir Alex Ferguson brought him to the club.

“I took incredible pride every time I pulled on this shirt, to lead the team, to represent this institution, the biggest club in the world was an honour only bestows upon a few lucky footballers.

“It’s been an unforgettable and successful period since I came here. I didn’t think from leaving Madrid as a young boy we would achieve what we did together.

“Now, it’s the right time to undertake a new challenge, to push myself again in new surroundings. Manchester will always be in my heart, Manchester has shaped me and will never leave me. We’ve seen it all,” he tweeted.
