 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   President Tinubu Reconstitutes the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), following the Senate's confirmation of its members on December 16.   Members of the reconstituted Board are:   • Mulisiu Olalekan Oseni, PhD. — Chairman   Dr Oseni started his service as a Commissioner in January 2017. He was subsequently appointed Vice Chairman of the Commission.   His appointment as Chairman took effect from 1 December 2025 and shall subsist until the completion of his ten-year tenure at the Commission, in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2023.   • Yusuf Ali, PhD. — Vice Chairman   Dr Ali was first appointed as a Commissioner in February 2022. GOV SANWO-OLU INAUGURATES NEWLY APPROVED LAGOS STATE COUNCIL OF OBAS AT LAGOS HOUSE, ALAUSA, IKEJA, ON WEDNESDAY, 12TH JULY 2023


I am happy to announce the r
enewal of the tenures of the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs for another term as well as the continuation of the tenure of Oba of Lagos, Oba Riliwanu Aremu Akiolu, as the body’s chairman.

The monarchs play an important role in preserving our cultural heritage as well as continuing to play a role in contemporary governance and delivery of the dividends of democracy. 

I charged the council on the importance of keeping Lagos safe for business and habitation and the important role they play as institutions that interact heavily with our communities. 

As a responsive government, we have continued to support our traditional rulers to enhance their mobility and general upkeep, as well as the construction and renovation of palaces across the State. It is our expectation that all of these will aid seamless discharge of their duties in their respective domains.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
