 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. Kidnapped Ajinomoto Logistics Personnel Found Dëad On Farmland In Lafia 


Kidnapped logistics personnel with Ajinomoto, a popular food seasoning and favour enhancer in Nigeria, Mr Emmanuel Tegwi has been found dëad.


Mr Tegwi who resides at Ombi II area (Kwandare road) of Lafia the Nasarawa State capital was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Sunday July 23 around 10pm. 


Hours after the abduction by yet-to-identified gunmen, his lifeless body was found on a farmland. 


According to sources, he was shot dead by his assailants and corpse dumped at the farm near his residence. 


Until his demise, the deceased who hails from Irigwe (Miango), Bassa LGA of Plateau State worships at the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Goodnews, Lafia (GRA). 


The Spokesperson of the Nasarawa State Police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel could not confirm the incident as efforts to reach him proved abortive.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
