 Rebels to withdraw from key DR Congo town 'after US request' The M23 rebel group has said it would withdraw from the eastern DR Congo town of Uvira at the request of the US administration, which had criticised seizure of the town last week as a threat to mediation efforts. The rebels entered Uvira, on the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met with US President Donald Trump in Washington and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept." A report by a United Nations group of experts in July said Rwanda exercised command and control over the rebels. Lady aims at setting new World Record for longest massaging time, surpasses 18 hours

A Nigerian lady named Joyc Ijeoma, is poised to establish a new Guinness World Record for the longest body massage duration.

Taking to Instagram, Joyc made an announcement regarding her ambitious endeavour to perform continuous massages for a period of 72 hours in Lekki, Lagos, starting on July 1.

Emphasizing that this particular record is yet to be achieved by anyone, Joyc appealed to fellow Nigerians for their support and encouraged individuals to come and witness the event physically at the designated location.

She wrote:

“A special invite to you all as I attempt to set a new record for longest massage on different individuals. Please come through for me. Your support and physical presence would be very much appreciated. Come with your family friends even your enemies.”

Currently, Joyc is live streaming her massage attempt on Instagram, providing viewers with real-time updates on her progress. As of now, she has already completed more than 18 hours of continuous massage.
