 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Lekki Port Receives First Transshipment Vessel 

With the development of new deep seaports in the country, Nigeria is positioned to serve as the maritime logistics hub in the sub-region, taking back transit and transshipment cargoes for the neighboring landlocked countries.

On Thursday June 29, at about 1 p.m., @LekkiPort received cargoes from two of the largest container shipping lines in the world, CMA-CGM and Maersk.

The CMA-CGM vessel carried 411 TEUs of transshipment cargo destined for Cotonou and will depart on July 6, 2023.

The vessels were navigated to the port with the 80-ton bollard pull tug boats recently acquired by the @NigerianPorts for seamless port operations at the Lekki Port corridor.

This further reaffirms the Management’s commitment to expanding the frontiers of business and becoming the maritime logistics hub for sustainable port services in the subregion.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
