 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Nnamdi Kanu: Mbaka leads prayer session for IPOB leader’s freedom

The spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has conducted a special prayer session for the freedom of the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

DAILY POST sighted a video of the special prayer session posted on Friday on the ministry’s Facebook page titled “I pray For Our Brother Nnamdi Kanu”.

The video was apparently recorded while the cleric was ministering in one of his church programmes.

The fiery cleric in the forty-three minutes long video offered prayers to God on behalf of Kanu for his freedom.

“There is nothing you cannot do. You are the specialist in the impossible. Into your hands, we commit Nnamdi Kanu, deliver him, deliver him. Please deliver him, Lord. For the sake of your people, oh Lord, deliver him, Lord. Give him freedom, ransom free. Emancipation. The hand that sets free those in bondage, free him from bondage.
