 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. One of the suspects involved in the attack on Apostle Johnson Suleman’s convoy has been arrested.

One of the suspects involved in the attack on Apostle Johnson Suleman’s convoy on October 21, 2022, has been arrested.

The Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi said operatives of the Intelligence Rapid Team arrested Yusuf Ismail Isa following an intensive investigation.

Adejobi said; 

“Following an intensive investigation into the fatal attack on the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Auchi, on October 21, 2022, along with Benin police personnel, who were gruesomely murdered, the operatives of FIB-IRT on Auchi road comprising six people, including three of the assailants, apprehended one Yusuf Ismael Isah ‘m’, a native of Okene, Kogi State and a plumber, at Agbaraoluwa Phase 2 Ijoka, Akure, Ondo State and recovered five Ak47 Rifles, two K2 Assault rifles, 180 live ammunition and 4 suspected IEDs were found in his apartment.”

Yusuf Ismail Isa confessed to being one of the seven gunmen that attacked the convoy and killed three policeman when being paraded before newsmen.

Isa disclosed that it was an assassination attempt but said he doesn’t know the reason behind it. He further revealed that he wielded an AK-47 during the attack.
