 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Tinubu's ministerial list not yet ready – Alake 

The presidency has said that President Bola Tinubu‘s ministerial list is not ready.

The Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Dele Alake who addressed journalists on Thursday, July 6, asked Nigerians to disregard rumours surrounding the awaited ministerial list.

Alake said; 

“About the ministerial list, there is no iota of truth in all of those things,” Alake said. “When the President is good and ready, you will be the first to know about his intentions.

“I can tell you all of those things you’ve been reading in the media are mere fabrications. This is an executive presidency; we’re not running a parliamentary system. So the President, the bucks stops on his table, and he decides when it’s fit and proper for him to make his cabinet list.”
