 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. HOODLUMS SET REPS MEMBER'S HOUSE ABLAZE IN ANAMBRA. (PHOTOS).

𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝗔𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝐈𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚

Some yet-to-be-identified assailants have burnt down the house of member, representing Ihiala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐤𝐞.

It was gathered that the hoodlums invaded the house located in Ubahi-Mbosi in Ihiala Local Government Area at about 1am on Tuesday and started shooting sporadically before setting the house ablaze.

Agbodike was also the former deputy speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly and the place of the incident is his hometown.

Although, no life was lost, but the house, consisting of a fully-furnished five-bedroom duplex with four living rooms and a kitchen was completely razed down by the hoodlums.

The lawmaker, who confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday, said he was informed about the incident on the telephone.

He was in Abuja carrying out his legislative duties when the attack occured, adding that before security operatives arrived the scene, the hoodlums had fled.

He also did not state if he suspected anyone, or whether it was politically motivated.

The state police spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident, saying that surveillance efforts are in place in the area.

Ikenga said, “The area has been condoned and security operatives have been deployed in the area and they are assessing the situation. There is ongoing surveillance by the operatives.”
