 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Islamic Scholar Condemns Looting Of Warehouses In Yola

The recent looting of warehouses by some hoodlums in Yola has continued to receive condemnation from various quotes.

Recent among them was coming from the Chief Imam of Aggah Islamic Centre, Sheikh Hassan Minkail during the presentation of the Juma'at sermon.

Sheikh Minkail described the recent looting as unacceptable in Islam, urging Muslims to be wary of the dangers of doing such.

He added that Islam prohibits believers from taking something not belong to them and called them to exercise patience with the current situation.

Among the dignitaries that observed the Juma'at prayers was Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, Secretary to the State Government Awwal Tukur, Vice-chancellor Mau Yola Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur among others.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
