 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Meet Nigerian businessman who owns a football club in Portugal


Not everyone will know him but his name will ring a bell in the ears of sports lovers.

Kunle Soname is a Nigerian politician, entrepreneur, sports enthusiast and chairman of Bet9ja, a betting website he founded in 2013.


He is the first Nigerian to acquire a European club C.D. Feirense which he bought in 2015.


Remo Stars Football Club previously known as FC DENDER was founded by Soname in 2004.


The club relocated from Lagos State to the Remo area of Ogun State and is playing in the Nigerian Premier League’s Top Division.


He is the founder of the private Nigerian airline ValueJet.


Soname studied Estate Management at Obafemi Awolowo University where he graduated in 1988.


He ventured into politics in 2003 and was elected as the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-isheri Local Council a post he held till 2011.


In 2022, he was inducted as a patron at the University of Lagos for his philanthropic activities.


Soname is married to Kemi Soname and they have a daughter Erioluwa.
