Nigeria On Threshold Of Greatness - Hannatu Musawa

Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa says Nigeria stands on the threshold of greatness as the country would henceforth be exporting everything good about Nigeria to the rest of the world.

Mrs Musawa stated this during the welcome ceremony and familiarization tour of the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy on Monday in Abuja organised for her, by the Minster of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed Idris and the Minister of Tourism, Mrs Lola Ade-John.

The Minister said wouldn't have dreamt of a better position than heading the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy as she had been burning with the desire to make Nigeria the greatest country in the world.

Mrs Musawa maintained that Nigeria had the most beautiful and diverse culture in the world and must do all she could to tap into it to generate revenue and create job opportunities for citizens.

''Apart from generating revenue, we are going to export Nigeria to the outside world. We are going to make Nigeria the greatest nation on earth as we would explore ways of changing the narrative.

Under my Ministry they talk about culture. Culture is our identity. We come from a nation that has diverse culture with over 250 languages. This iS something we need to tap into, something we need to be proud of and we need the ministry to unite the nation.''

The Minister stressed that she will enact an action plan that will be satisfactory and acceptable to all Nigerians in line with the mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mrs Musawa said her ministry will welcome any robust collaboration with other sister ministry to make the country greater.

On her part, the Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John said after amassing enormous wealth of experience in the banking sector, she would make the country's tourism sector the mainstay of the nation's economy.

Mrs Ade-John appealed to the Chief Executives Officers under her Ministry to support her to make the sector a pride of the nation.
