 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Gov. Zulum Celebrates Return of Peace as NYSC Opens Orientation Camp Maiduguri After 12 Years Of Closure.

~Borno Chief Judge administered the Oath of allegiance to Corps Members.

Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum attend the NYSC Orientation Camp swearing in of Corp members posted to Borno state at the temporary NYSC Orientation Camp Arabic Teacher college Maiduguri.

The NYSC state coordinator in his remarks thank the Executive Governor of Borno state and the stakeholders for efforts put in place and working with the NYSC management to see NYSC Orientation Camp resume in Borno state after the 12 Years of the closure now the orientation camp has been Reopened for activities this is indeed shows that peace has gradually return to Borno state. He charged the Prospective Corp members to be diligent in their PPA to serve their father Land.

Gov. Zulum in his address Thanked Almighty Allah for witnessing this remarkable day of Reopening of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Borno state after 12 years of closure of the camp due to insecurity and today NYSC Camp activities have resumed in Borno State, This is a clear indication that peace has returned  to the state. He also acknowledged the bold step taken by the Corp members posted to Borno state who come down to the state for their mandatory youths service, "We welcome you all and Borno is a place for hospitality and the state has been enjoying peace, Borno state government has continues paying corp members their state allowance without any issues he wish them successful service year in Borno state".
