 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Simon Ekpa invites Southeast Governors, Leaders to Biafra Convention

Simon Ekpa, a popular Biafra agitator and Separatist, has sent invitation messages to southeast governors and other leaders to the Biafra Convention in Finland.

Ekpa, the Finland-based lawyer and Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government, disclosed this through his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.

According to him, the event will be the first-ever gathering of Biafrans in Finland.

He stated that the convention would be the best opportunity for the governors and leaders to meet up with him.

“We are inviting South East Governors, Senator Abaribe, Iwuanyanwu, Ifeanyi Uba and others to our Biafra Self Referendum Convention 2023 in Finland. Since they are looking for a way to see Simon Ekpa. Here is an opportunity to see him. No representatives will be allowed; you must come in person”, he wrote.

Earlier, he announced that the convention would commence in October 2023.
