Howard Stern renews SiriusXM deal for three years Howard Stern has confirmed that he will remain with SiriusXM for another three years, extending his long-running tenure with the satellite radio network. The 71-year-old host made the announcement live on The Howard Stern Show, with the company confirming the extension but providing no further financial or contractual details. Stern previously renewed his contract in 2020 for five years, in a deal reported to be worth between $450 million and $500 million. Stern has been a central figure at SiriusXM for more than two decades, having pioneered the move from terrestrial radio to satellite, setting a standard for high-profile talent seeking greater creative freedom. UNICAL appoints acting Dean, Faculty of Law after S£x scandal alleged on Professor Ndifon

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi, has approved the appointment of Dr (Mrs.) Rose Ohiama Ugbe, as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law.

A release issued by the Registrar of the University of Calabar on Tuesday, Mr. Gabriel Egbe, disclosed that the appointment takes effect from Tuesday, August 22, 2023 and will run till a substantive dean is elected for the faculty.

The release states that, as acting Dean, Dr. Rose Ugbe will take up the responsibilities and duties associated with the office and also oversee faculty’s academic programmes, foster a healthy relationship among staff and students, and create a positive environment for teaching and learning.

Other functions as contained in the release include supporting faculty members in their research activities and collaborating with the University Administration to ensure full implementation and actualization of the vision of the University.

The University Community congratulates the newly appointed acting Dean and wish her well in her new assignment.
