 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. WE'LL CONTINUE TO PRIORITIZE EDUCATION FOR A BETTER SOCIETY - GOVERNOR BALA TELLS NECO


Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has reiterated his administration's commitment to introducing policies that will simply learning and teaching in public schools across the state, saying education remains his top priority. 

He made this known when he received the officials of the National Examination Council (NECO) on a courtesy visit to Bauchi Government House, today. 

Mohammed who commended NECO for the visit and for their support to his administration's commitment to reviving the education, saying he will not hesitate to implement more developmental policies including the establishment of learning centers, construction of additional classroom blocks and special scholarship to hardworking students. 

Earlier speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of NECO, Professor Ibrahim Wushishi commended the governor for his laudable achievements in education, calling on him to implement and harmonize the junior examination in lines with the Council curriculum. 

He thanked Governor Bala for providing the NECO with office and furniture, saying the visit was to strengthen the synergy and partnership with the state government among others.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
